The Royal cemetery Imogiri was built by Sultan Agung on 1645 to serve as his own mausoleum. Laid on a hilltop at the south east of Jogja, The visitors must dress in full Javanese court dress to enter the tombs and reached by an equally impressive flight of 345 steps.
